Salvation Army, Domestic Violence

The Salvation Army is a safe haven from domestic abuse. It takes an extensive approach to aiding victims of domestic abuse, offering confidential emergency and transitional shelters where victims and their kids can sleep safely while we help them heal and begin living independently. After addressing any physical wounds with immediate medical attention, each Salvation Army Safe House helps to heal the emotional scars of domestic violence through mental and spiritual counseling that puts men, women, and children on the path toward rehabilitation.
